Windsurfing: felixstowe dip Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 8-15kts Surf / Sea State: moderate Air Temperature: ok Sea Temperature: ok Weather: ok Max Speed: 20kts ish (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: not much
Paul text me to say him and Rog were planing 8.5M flat sea - so I dumped
the mower, left the porch that I started sanding, left the irate female,
hook up the trailer - dip here I come. The wind was fresh-light weight Paul
was OK but Rog was struggling, so set the 9.8M on the 140L. It was wind
with tide and my first 3 runs were a real struggle keeping up wind, and my
last run nearly ended up 500M down, fortunately there were waves to work
the board on. Paul burnt pass me with one finger in the air, and it didn't
seem as if he was greeting me :) so I owe him one eh:) when Roger switched
to a long board, I thought time to pack up! It blew the cobwebs away and I
would have backed more closely in the Leger - it lost and I am £20 up!! so
3 stars today cos I am well happy :)
